Burglars Strike Three Schools

Three Escambia County schools were burglarized early Tuesday morning.
The burglars hit Pine Forest High School, West Florida High School and George Stone between 4 and 5 a.m. At least two iPads and two laptop computers were taken from Pine Forest and George Stone, while baseball equipment was reported missing from an outside shed at West Florida High.
Authorities said bolt cutters were used to gain entry. The Escambia County School District has surveillance video of the suspects, but that video has not yet been made public by the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.
All three schools are adjacent on Longleaf Drive.
