One Critical After McDavid Crash

Seven people were injured, one critically, in a two vehicle crash in McDavid this morning.
A male driver was ejected from his vehicle in the accident. He was transported to Molino and airlifted by LifeGuard helicopter to a Pensacola hospital.
The other six people involved in the accident appeared to have suffered only minor injuries. At least three minors were transported by private vehicle to Jay Hospital.
The accident occurred on Highway 29 in front of the McDavid Volunteer Fire Department. Further details have not yet been released by the Florida Highway Patrol.

My father passed away yesterday afternoon. There will be a service tomorrow from 6 to 9 pm at pettys funeral home in atmore. Thank you all for your support and prayers
I just wanna say I miss my best, best, best friend in the world already, and I know I haven’t been down there to see you, and I want everyone to know its not because I don’t care or love this wonderful man it’s because i only want to remember him the way he was not as he is now. My heart and love goes out to You Heather and them babies.
This has been a heart wrenching tragedy. Bryon has touched so many lives with his bogia charm, personality, and heart, to say the least. Bryon was like a brother to me, and like a son to my mom and dad. I want to ask that everyone please know, Sydney has had to make decisions based on “facts” given to her by the doctors, and “the knowledge” of what her dad would want. She is trying to be strong and needs all the prayer and compassion she can get. Thank you to all that have been praying, calling, visiting, etc. Bryon,Sydney, Heather. and the girls need all the support and prayers they can get.

Molino Jim: as thumper was told, “if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all.” This space is not the place to voice your opinions on seat belts. His family is having to deal with this tragedy. I myself always wear my seatbelt but I would think that offering words of encouragement and prayers are more important right now. Using the phrase, same old story, is disrespectful to someone who is fighting for their life whatever the cause.

Sorry for all that were involved and hurt, but it’s the same old story– the driver was ejected and is in critical condition. Please use the belts in the vehicle. They may not keep you from being hurt or even killed— but they help.
