John C. Worley

John C. Worley, 69, of Pensacola, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2014. John was born on February 9, 1945, in Opp, Alabama.

He graduated from DeFuniak Springs High School, Class of 1963. He was a Mason at the Ferry Pass Lodge for 40 years. He was a softball coach for NEP for numerous years and later umpired at Cantonment and NEP. He worked at Monsanto for 17 years and later retired from Escambia County Roads and Bridges department after 15 years. He was an avid golfer and loved wood working. He was an active member of Hillcrest Baptist Church of Pensacola.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Douglas and Vivian Worley.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Worley of 41 years; his children, Katherine Reding, Mike Allan, Rodney Allan, James Worley, Jacqueline Stoner; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Mitchell Cartwright, Michael Ray, Matthew Reding, Jon Stoner, Dakota Worley and Lil John Worley.

Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December, 17, 2014, at Hillcrest Baptist Church with services to follow.

Faith Chapel Funeral Home North is in charge of arrangements.
