Christmas Parades, Carnivals, Craft Fairs, Concerts And More This Weekend

From parades, to a carnival to a concert to a walk through Bethlehem,  numerous Christmas events are planned for this weekend in the North Escambia area. Here are some highlights:

Byrneville Elementary Christmas Carnival

Byrneville Elementary School will hold their annual Christmas Carnival  Saturday from 11 am. until 2 p.m. There will be vendors, games, food and a basket auction.  Santa will also be available for photos. [More details...]

Century’s Land To Lake Lighted Boat Christmas Parade

The Century Christmas Land To Lake Lighted Boat Parade will be Saturday with line-up at 5 p.m. and floats rolling out at dark from Industrial Boulevard to Lake Stone. The entry fee is $10 per boat or float, with checks made payable to the Century Area Chamber of Commerce. For more information and a printable registration form, click here. Molino’s 12th Annual Christmas Parade

Molino’s 12th Annual Christmas Parade will be held Saturday with line-up at 10:15 a.m. The parade will begin at 11 a.m. at the west end of Crabtree Church Road and will end at the Molino Ballpark were Santa will be waiting to visit with children. All funds  will go directly to the community to help children in need.

To participate in the parade, you can pre-register at Fran’s Diner on Highway 29 in Molino or register day of parade. Floats are $40, vehicles, motorcycles, tractors and golf carts are $30, and horses are $20 each. No 4-wheelers or go carts permitted. For more information, contact Charity Sheldt at (850) 324-4463 or Fran’s Diner at (850) 587-2803. Donations such as toys and non-perishable food can be dropped off at Fran’s Diner. Rain date will be Sunday, December 7 at 2:30 p.m.

Cantonment Holiday Craft Fair


St. Monica’s Episcopal Church will hold a holiday craft fair on Saturday, December 6, from 8 a.m. until noon, featuring local arts and crafts. For more information, call St. Monica’s at (850) 937-0001. St. Monica’s is located at 699 S. Highway 95-A in Cantonment.

International Children’s Choir In Concert
The International Children’s Choir will be in concert at the First Baptist Church of Cantonment on December 7 at 6 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

Evening In Bethlehem


Gonzalez United Methodist Church will hold their  Annual Evening in Bethlehem Saturday, December 6. Go back in time to the night Jesus was born and experience the people, places and experiences that surrounds the birth of Jesus Christ. Live animals and actors portray what it was like in Bethlehem that night. Stroll through the village with loved ones to share in the joy of the birth of the Son of God. Tours will run continuously from 6 until 8 p.m. The event will be held at the church, 2026 Pauline Street in Cantonment. Free, and refreshments will be provided.
