Bobbie Glenda (Strickland) White

Bobbie Glenda (Strickland) White, 79, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 4, 2014, in Indianapolis, IN.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Losson D. White; parents, James Howard Strickland and Vera (Daniels) Strickland; and great-granddaughter, Kinley Nevaeh Clarke.

Mrs. White is survived by her son, Kenneth H. White; daughter, Glenda V. Butler; five grandchildren, David W. Haid, John C. (Joni) Haid, Greg A. (Lindsay) Haid, Manda L. (Jess) Clarke and Losson D. White; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2014, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North with Bro. Roy Chewning, officiating.

Burial to follow in Barrancas National Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at 10:30 a.m. until time of service.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Community Home Health, 9894 East 121st Street, Fishers, IN 46037.

Pallbearers will be David W. Haid, John C. Haid, Greg A. Haid and Kenneth H. White.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ernie Hester, Vince Milstead and Billy Ward.

Faith Chapel Funeral Home North is in charge of arrangements.

    I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Bobbie. I know she is in a better place and what a reunion she is having! One of my favorite people. She will be missed!! May God be your strength in the days to come and comfort you and give you peace. Love to all.

    Gloria Faye, just learned of the passing of Bobbie. So sorry. I remember her well.

    Wonderful sister that will be greatly missed. Fought a good fight against cancer but have comfort in knowing you are in Heaven with Losson, mama & daddy
