Shane Lee

Mr. Shane Lee, 39, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2014, in Atmore.

Mr. Lee was a native of Pensacola and a resident of Bratt for most of his life. Mr. Lee was a trainer with the M.M.A., loved to write poems and he loved his daughters and family very much.

Survivors include his father, Russell Lee of Bratt; mother Debbie Lee of Bratt; two daughters, Skye Lee of Atmore, and Somer Lee of Atmore; brother, Robert “Snuffy” Findley of Atmore and four Sisters, Amber Broadhead of Bratt, Sheena Carach of Bratt,  Karissa Lee of Bratt and Heather Lee of Bratt.

Funeral services will be Sunday, November 2, 2014, at 2 p.m. at the Unity Baptist Church with Rev. Gene Pickern officiating.

Burial will follow at the Godwin Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 1, 2014, from 6-8 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Mike Ward, Dannie King, Rusty Allday, Josh Warren, Kevin Campbell and Chris Johnson.  Honorary pallbearers will be Robbie Lawler and Buddy Skylar.

Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes in Atmore is in charge of all arrangements.

    we all miss him me and my sister got a call from our ant his sister at about 5-6 o’clock telling us that she tried to save him and we didn’t know what she was talking about so she said come to the atmore hospital your dad is in the emergency room so we rushed don there we live an hour away.
    She told ”my ant” told us that he was int he bathroom when she got to my maw maws house and that he was in there for 3 hours or so so when she got in there he was on the floor and purple he passed out so she called the ambulance …… when we got there we waited and then they pulled us back there and told us they tried but…. he didn’t make it.

    I trained with Shane at Ironhorse gym in Waco Tx. He was a very passionate fighter and loved the sport dearly.It was a real pleasure being his training partner and friend.
