Police: Man Used Craigslist To Solicit Sex With Escambia County Child

An Okaloosa County man has been charged after he allegedly used Craigslist to arrange a meeting in Escambia County for sex with what he thought was a 12-year old girl.
William McNeal Goode, 47, of 5851 Saratoga Drive, Crestview was charged with solicitation of a parent or legal guardian for unlawful sexual conduct, attempted lewd and lascivious battery on a minor, traveling to meet a minor for sexual purposes, and using a two-way communication device for an unlawful act.
The investigation began November 5 after the Pensacola Police Department’s Computer Crimes Unit received a complaint about someone soliciting parents via Craigslist to have sex with their children.
The investigation is continuing to determine if Goode had prior sexual contact with children.
Members of the North Florida Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force participating in the investigation included the Pensacola Police Department, Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, Department of Homeland Security Investigations, and Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

Jail!
There is no rehab that works. But we dont see people screaming over a drug dealer getting their child hooked on drugs. I was a victim of sexual abuse and hooked on drugs when I was 12. That was 20 years ago. The drugs have screwed up my life worse.
I’ll sum it up in 2 simple words: “kill him”
No if’s, and’s, or but’s… I think all legal adults that commit violent acts against children should just be put to death. Society does not need these people.
I also believe if people were just put to death for sexual crimes there would be a lot less sexual crimes. None of this registering as a sexual predator for everyone else to baby sit. None of this life in prison to get turned out by Bubba, either.
Found guilty, you’re escorted from the court room to the gas chamber down the hall.
As sick as this is, and believe me, I totally hate crime against children, especially since my child went through it, but thankfully, she didn’t let that stand in the way of moving forward with her life, and I could not be more proud of her and what she has become, and over come, but this sick man needs either medication, or put in jail for the rest of his life, cause personally, I don’t think they can be rehabbed and turned back into the community. And meds, I don’t believe will help, unless you have someone there with him every day making sure he does take the meds. Prayers for this man, and hope God will turn him around.
