Photos: Truck Burns On Highway 4

Fire destroyed a truck alongside Highway 4 near Sandy Hollow Road near Davisville about 4:15 Thursday afternoon.  The driver of the vehicle was not around when firefighters arrived on scene.

There were no injuries reported. The Walnut Hill Station of Escambia Fire Rescue and the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office responded to the blaze.

    Heck I’ve seen this truck broken down in several different locations, not just Canoe.

    THERE WAS A CAR THERE RIGHT BEFORE THE FIRE AND THEY WERE REMOVING THINGS FROM THE TRUCK AND PUTTING THEM IN THE CAR. MAKES ONE WONDER.

    That truck is from Canoe, ive seen it broke down along hwy 31 there a couple of times
