Mr. Larry Wayne Stokes, 63, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2014, in Jay.

Mr. Stokes was a native and lifelong resident of Century. Mr. Stokes was an employee of Escambia County, AL, for 10 years, Ingalls Shipyard as electrician and B & J Meat Processing. He is preceded in death by his parents, Freddie and Eunice Stokes.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa Flowers Stokes of Byrneville; two sons, Brandon Stokes of Byrneville and Micheal Stokes of Brewton; step-children, Lesley Haskew of Milton and James Steadham of Canoe; adopted children, Dina Wickliffe of Brewton and Angela Steadham of Brewton; grandchildren, Rayna and Lucas; step-grandchildren, Savannah, Reygan and Paige Steadham, Micheal Stokes and Cody Kent; adopted grandchildren, Lauren, Ashley, Tiffani and Alyssa; adopted great-grandchild, Kairi; two brothers, Fred (Renee) Stokes of Pensacola and Timothy Paul “Dick” (Janice) Stokes of Florala, AL; and two sisters, Brenda (David) Yarter of McDavid and Marilyn Findley of Byrneville.

Funeral services will be Monday, November 24, 2014, at 10 a.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Edward Kimmons officiating.

Burial will follow at the Rigby Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 23, 2014, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be will be James Victor, Ray Flowers, Shane Wickliff, Phillip Scott and Gary Fuqua.

Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes, LLC is in charge of all arrangements.
