Free Thanksgiving Dinner Offered Thursday In Century

Rivertown Church from Columbus, GA, will join two local churches to provide a free Thanksgiving dinner Thursday in Century.

Rivertown will provide the pork loin and dressing, community members will provide the side dishes and dessert will be provide by Abundant Life Assembly of God in Century and the First Baptist Church of Flomaton. The free Thanksgiving dinner will be served from noon until 2p.m. at the Abundant Life Assembly, 8040 North Century Boulevard. Anyone is welcome.

For the past couple of years, Rivertown Church has worked on improvements and upkeep during the summer at the Carver Community Center as a church outreach project. This will be the second year Rivertown has provided a Thanksgiving dinner in Century.

    Not often do you see such generosity and compassion. There are people in our area who would go without otherwise. I hope someone in the Pensacola area is doing the same for their locals. I often say that we are blessed to have such a wonderful, caring community. Thank You for all those you help.
