Driver Escapes Injury In Highway 29 McDavid Crash

An elderly female driver escaped injury when she lost control and ran into a wooded area on Highway 29 at Main Street in McDavid early Thursday afternoon. There were no other passengers or vehicles involved. The McDavid and Century stations of Escambia Fire Rescue, Escambia County EMS and the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash.     Mick, she lost control when her tire went off the side of the road and she over-corrected. We’ve all done it, has nothing to do with age…

    Mick, you are making some broad assumptions. It didn’t say she’s elderly and infirm. I sincerely hope that your loved ones don’t take away your driving privileges just because your tire leaves the road and you over correct. THAT is what caused the loss of control.

    Elderly and lost control of the vehicle, maybe its time for loved ones and friends to get her to where she needs to go.
