Burger King In Cantonment Damaged By Fire

Fire caused significant damage to Burger King in Cantonment Friday night.
The fire was reported about 7:10 p.m. after workers begin to smell smoke in the restaurant on Highway 29 at Old Chemstrand Road. Firefighters arrived to find the front of the building filled with smoke.
The Florida State Fire Marshal’s Office was called into determine the cause of the fire.
The restaurant will be closed for repairs for an unknown amount of time.

Somebody didn’t have it their way lol
That explains McDs being jammed saturday. Totally stinks though, I prefer BK, was only at the other place because I had the grandkids.
Glad no injuries.
There is a reason that the McDs right next door will have a full parking lot and a
drive- thru line around the building, meanwhile BK might have two cars in the parking lot.
BK makes my favorite burgers, but I haven’t eaten at that location in years even though I drive past it several times each day.
I was passing by lastnight . You could see the smoke and the ceiling looked gone ! It was crazy. Glad everyone’s safe though(:
The sad part is it’s so close to the holidays and those people out of a job that’s really pitiful

What a shame. This was the last decent BK in the county
When they said flame-broiled, they weren’t kidding.
