Richard Allan Roberts

Mr. Richard Allan Roberts, 52, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2014, in Columbus, GA.

Mr. Roberts was a native of Fairhope and a resident of Atmore and Bratt for most of his life. Mr. Roberts was in the FCF Association, former senior commander Royal Rangers Outpost 63, and employee at Holman Prison for 12 years and Escambia County Community Corrections for eight years. His parents, W.C. and Juanetta Roberts, precede him in death.

He is survived by the love of his life, Sandra Lynn Roberts of Atmore; one son, Derek Alexander Roberts of Pensacola; two daughters, Apryl Nicole (Barry) Roberts of McDavid and Ashley Denise Roberts of Bratt; three brothers, Marc Evan Roberts of Palm Springs, CA, Stormy (Tammy) Roberts of Dawsonville, GA and Chuck (Tammy) Roberts of Pace; two sisters, Cyndi Roberts (Jack) Padgett of Pace and Dodi Roberts (Scottie) Smith of Bratt; and four grandchildren, Franklin Fails, Jr., Jesse Fails, Lauren Olivia Ahern and Michael Ashton McGhee.

Funeral services were held Monday, October 20, 2014, at the Bratt Assembly of God with Rev. Rick Maharrey and Rev. Keith Lisenby officiating.

Pallbearers were Chad Cook, David Parish, Michael Roley, Keith Lisenby, Wayne Harris, Jack Kirkland and Todd Robinson.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Royal Rangers.

Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes is in charge of all arrangements.
