I, once, had a motor home. I was traveling to Georgia for a dog show, when we smelled something wrong. Then saw flames coming from under the engine cover. We pulled over, and I begin getting dogs out of the motor home. Thankfully, we had a way to put out the fire, but you can bet it scared the living hell out of me. I was more concerned about my dogs then myself. Needless to say, when we got the motorhome home I put an ad on craigslist and “gave” it away. Yep, free. Come and get it. Tow it off at your expense. Don’t ever want another one. If I want to travel, I’ll take my car or truck, and stay in a hotel that has a kitchenette . I am so glad that no one was hurt in this incident. Could have been worse.
We passed this yesterday afternoon and wondered if anyone had been hurt or worse. Sorry they lost their truck and camper, but VERY glad the people are all right.
So glad no one was injured, but I feel so bad these people lost their camper.
scary! thank God they were able to get out!!
