August 22, 2014
The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office conducted an “Operation Clean Sweep” event today in Molino.
During the sweep, 26 traffic citations were issued, three criminal infractions were cited and three warnings were issued. Six sex offender addresses were verified and five tons of debris were collected.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the focus of “Operation Clean Sweep” is to work with neighborhood watch groups, residents, churches and business owners to control and prevent the damaging effects of crime. The Operation Task Force works closely with Escambia County Animal Control, environmental law enforcement, the military, Escambia County Roads and Bridges and neighborhood watch groups to clean up neighborhoods and educate citizens on preventive measures that could be implemented to minimize crime.

ECSO your welcomed back any time. Things have been good since the Clean Sweep
Kudos to LEO!
Thank you ESCO and all the folks who collected debris!
Cedar town rd is actually not bad where I live there and there are no crimes going on where I live so if you don’t live here or haven’t been here for a period of time don’t go running your mouth cause you DONT know what goes on around here. Many people just say this is a bad neighborhood because black people live here and not all black people are the same so keep your opinions to yourself please! Yes people do come on this road a lot but it doesn’t mean they are just coming here for drugs maybe they are coming to visit a sick relative or driving on this road to get to a different road.
They need to come to Hwy. 168!!! From Bratt to the Al. line.
Just drove thru molino and its still dirty as ever! Wish they would sweep it in the rite hours of the day!!!! All molino drug dealers/users don’t really get a good start till the afternoon…. Bout the time everyone left !!! Lol
I was riding along with deputies this morning, and Cedartown Road was one of the first places our group visited.
Exactly!! Cedartown Road should be the first place to go especially towards the river!! People come in and out all the time getting what they need!!! Tired of seeing the silver maxima with no tag driving around acting like they own the place and being up to no good!
They will have to wait till they build the new jail for Cedartown road, Glad they finally made it out to Molino. Bet we wont see half the traffic on 95a as we normally do.
When will cedertown rd get a Clean Sweep?
