August 19, 2014
Monday was the first day of school across the area, with tens of thousands of students heading back to class.
We asked NorthEscambia.com readers to submit their back to school photos.

We apologize, but due to a tremendous response, we were unable to publish all photos, and we are unable to add additional photos to the galleries.

Way to go Mia an Maille!!!!! Looking good as always
The kids love their school and really love their teachers so it was very good to see them happy and excited about seeing “my old teacher” who was quite young. They were pleased to see friends not around in the summer. First day of school is always fun and very busy. Teachers had their rooms decorated and set up for First Day and for welcoming the students back to school in a wonderful environment.
We did notice in the office area there was an absolute overload of the school personnel who were doing their level best but there were some computer problems that were due to what seemed like an unprepared and very slow responding software program at the district level. While we were checking in the system crashed and we heard that it had been going down all day long and the district was telling the schools to make hand written lists of kids to be sent to the district office. Have seen the office persons work like clockwork for years but they were on edge and frustrated with the computer problems.
School busses and parents with cars of our Precious Children, all ages, are on the roadways, Please Be Extra Careful driving as school begins to settle in.
Hoping ALL Kids, Teachers, Parents, Grandparents and the School Support folks have a Wonderful 2014-15 School Year.
It was so nice to have the peace and quite inside and outside of the house today. I love my kids but the break was definitely welcomed.
Proud of Berklee entering 3RD Grade And Brody entering PreK We love youll
