Bus Driver Charged With Sexual Assault On Mentally Challenged Woman

August 7, 2014

An Escambia County man was arrested Wednesday afternoon after an investigation determined he intimidated a mentally challenged woman to have sex with him.

Jeremy L. Hubert, 28, address unavailable, was charged with two  counts of sexual assault on a person with special needs and one count of attempted sexual assault on a person with special needs.

Pensacola Police Detective Amy Parsons determined Hubert, who drives a bus for ARC of Escambia County, demanded sex from a 29-year-old mentally challenged client on the bus. The woman said she cooperated with Hubert, who is seven feet tall and weighs 400 pounds, because she was afraid of him.

The investigation has been on-going since the incident was reported in April.

Hubert was booked into the Escambia County Jail with bond set at $300,000.

    REGARDING:
“There is some type of misunderstanding going on. Wait for results instead of judging.”

So you are CERTAIN nothing happened?

    That’s a relief.
    Shame on her for lying.
Shame on the police for listening to the woman on the matter.

    David for honest people

Wonder why this guy was allowed to have any sort of bond at all.?

I thought that assaults of any sort upon a special needs person are considered to be especially heinous.

Isn’t there supposed to also be at least one more person on these means of transport to act as monitor / assistant.? Are there cameras on these busses?

7 feet tall and 400 pounds…..even if he was a Monk would be intimidating.
If found guilty then hope he spends many years in a very tiny cell.

Sick bastard. There’s a candidate for court-ordered castration. Hope the victim recovers from this.

What a sick individual! Let the family have 5 minutes alone with him, maybe even 4!

For years many there has been a movement on women telling them that if they are being forced into a rape situation to not resist not fight back. Women listen!!! fight like hell to survive, bite kick, scream, whatever you have to do, don’t let someone tell you to go along with it.

As for rapist, I think they should be but to death.
