Boy Scout Leader, School District Employee Gets 50 Years For Molesting Three Kids

A local Boy Scout leader and school district employee has been sentenced to five decades in prison for molesting three girls.
Douglas Alden Parker, 47, pleaded guilty Wednesday to three counts of felony lewd and lascivious molestation on victims under 12 years old, 24 counts of child pornography and one count of video voyeurism.
Circuit Judge Ross Goodman sentenced Parker to 50 years in state prison followed by a lifetime of probation.
Pensacola Police Sgt. Kristin Brown said detectives began investigating Parker on July 14, 2013, the same day one of the females filed a complaint against Parker with the Department of Children and Families. An investigation determined the females were ages three to nine years old when Parker had sexual contact with them.
Brown said detectives found child pornography on Parker’s computer.
As of July 16, 2013, Parker was a Boy Scout leader with local Troops 3 and 608 and was an information technology employee for the Escambia County School District. The school district position had no direct contact with children, according to police.

(Picking up where I was cut off). Why should we pay for him to continue to keep him and others like him alive. There is obviously something wrong in their heads that can’t be fixed he admitted to it so lets just get rid of him and move on to the next problem. I hope the part of hell that he is going to occupy is going to be a lot hotter than the rest. Maybe then he will realize the pain that he caused for these three little girls. We can only pray these little girls find a way to block these disturbing images from their minds completely.
How bad does it have to get before the rest of us get tired of this crap and start doing something about it?

It is a very sad state that our society has become. We are forced to pay taxes so that scum like this can sit in an airconditioned and heated cell and continue to rob us of oxygen that could be used for others. He has single handedly caused irrepairable emotional and psyologial damage to these three innocent little girls, and for what to satisfiy his sick twisted perverse impulses. There is no ammount of therapy that will undo what this scum bag has done

A reputable man I know was very active in Scouts,in fact everyone in his family was.receiving Eagle status. He had his young son in Scouts and was well on his way to following in his Father’s footsteps but there has been too much breakdown in Scouts now voting nationally for gays to be admitted so now look at this leader here and Scouts has lost it’s goals so as a result he pulled his son out of the Scout program. God help us put our country back like you meant it to be.
I’m suprised, some guy right off pine forest molested a 5 year old little girl and only got 10 years.
Barely knew this guy but he always gave impression of being “Okay” and interested in scouting and outdoors activities.
No hint, to me at leas nor to otherst, that he was such a molester of young girls and so blasted perverted.

We need to be overly cautious with our kids and encourage them to ALWAYS tell parents or a person of trust if anything uncomfortable or wrong is going on.
