Two Injured In Highway 29, Bluff Springs Road Crash

Two people were injured in an accident Thursday afternoon on Highway 29.
The accident happened about 4:50 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 29 and Bluff Springs Road and involved a GMC Denali. The two injured persons were transported by Escambia County EMS to Jay Hospital with injuries that were not considered severe.
The accident was investigated by the Florida Highway Patrol; further details, including names, were not released.
The Century Station of Escambia Fire Rescue also responded to the crash.

It is wide open unless you are coming down the hill on Byrneville Road and then it is clear if you actually STOP at the stop sign. If you do NOT stop, you do not see hazards coming at you and you run out in front of those who do not know to expect you.
For that matter, we used to have one who never slowed down coming off of Bluff Springs Road. She would sail across with semis coming at her from both directions and never notice. (Still alive, somehow.)

I agree why can’t people pat attention to where there going, Thats a wide open area and there should be not reason to have a wreck????
