I live in Cottage Hill & go through those intersections at least once a day. I feel the need to always check before I go through, even though I have a green light. My husband was at the intersection when this accident happened, and has almost been hit himself by other drivers not paying attention to the light changing. Not sure what the answer is, except stay alert, and expect the worst.

Wondering why there have been so many vehicle accidents on or close to Highway 29 lately. Head-ons, wrapping vehicles around poles, etc. Are people texting, talking, or just not paying attention? I’m not so sure that doing away with drivers ed in school is a good thing. Doesn’t sound like on-line education is getting the point across that driving is a privilege and that you are putting the lives of yourself and others in your hands when you get behind the wheel.

Please people ,always wait and make sure traffic is stopped both ways before you pulled out,,that is a bad intersection and the other one right up the road from going North by the 95 A splits is also bad,,,please be careful,my neighbors…
