Mable Huie Thames
July 20, 2014
Mable Huie Thames, 80 of McDavid, passed away Friday July 11, 2014, at her residence. She was a homemaker, born in McDavid on August 12, 1933, to the late William Homer and Pencie Ola Bass Huie.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Britt Thames, one brother Donald Huie, and a twin Sister, Margie Mavis King.
Survivors are two sons, Randall (Randy) Scott Thames of McDavid and Danny Thames of Biloxi; one daughter, Sandra Thames Schmidt of Mobile; three sisters, Frances Green of Old Town, FL, Lillian Green of Century, and Wylene Miller of Atlanta; numerous grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Memorial Services were Sunday July 20, 2014, from the McDavid United Methodist Church.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
