Escambia Student Report Cards Still On Hold
June 18, 2014
Middle and high school report cards in Escambia County are still on hold.
The report cards were delayed waiting on End of Course (EOC) grades in select subjects. Those scores were released Monday, and now district staff must convert the scores and double check them for accuracy before they are released, according to Escambia County School Superintendent Malcolm Thomas. That, he said, means it will be late this week or perhaps even next week before report cards are mailed.
In the meantime, parents can check their student’s grades in other courses (and the EOC courses minus the exam grade) at the district’s parent portal. Click here to access.

The more complicated you make anything, the more likely you are to create errors and the longer it takes to check.
David for flawless tests and grading
and the tooth fairy
How can we put a stop to this nonsense. We have a right as Florida citizens to a timely reporting time frame. This is absolutely rediculous.
That is unacceptable, why would parents need to check grades when EOC results aren’t figured in, it’s my understanding, so I’ve been told, that even if children passed the other work & they failed EOC test, they fail the course & now the county has to make sure they’re accurate, somebody dropped the ball on this one. They also had EOC exams last year & they got report cards by the end the first week of being out of school. They haven’t gotten the FCAT results released for parents either.
