Northview, Ernest Ward Hold Annual FFA Banquet

The Northview High School FFA held their 17th annual banquet Friday night.

The event includes a somber retirement ceremony for the chapter’s graduating senior officer…Courtney Solari slowly removed her signature blue FFA jackets and hung it up for the last time on a coat rack.

The night also included many awards for Northview and Ernest Ward Middle school FFA members and supporters.

    Congratulations to each and all of you for your dedication and hard work that has led to these recognitions.

    Even though it seems the whole world is rushing to embrace the newest tech this or tech that there is nobody except for the farmers who will provide us with good and fresh food.

    When thinking of the FFA I am always reminded of Paul Harvey’s very moving, and true, speech “God made a Farmer”.

    Thank you to our FFA…..you hold in your hands the future of the United States of America.
