Escaped Prisoner On The Run Near Jacks Branch Road

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, Escambia County Road Prison and other agencies are searching for an escaped Escambia County Road Prison inmate in the area of Jacks Branch Road and Schifko Road this afternoon.

Escambia County officials said 25-year old Nolan Ray McDaniel has been on the run sinceĀ  about 1:30 after he was discovered missing from a work site. He is possibly shirtless at this time, according to the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.

McDaniel, according to jail records, was arrested April 18 on charges of methamphetamine production, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a listed chemical. His jury trial was set to begin on July 14.

Anyone in the area the sees McDaniel should call 911.

    Well at least he’s just a drug offender… Likely he won’t be in the woods making meth tonight…

    They found his pants about mile behind my house.. He’s now down to his boxers and boots.. Don’t you know he’s scratched from one end to the other.. Hope they catch him soon !!!

    Ol red will find him, but if not with no shirt on and in them swamps whoooooo them Skeeters are libel to carry him off. And he might just turn back around to get some bug spray and praaaay for forgiveness!!!! That’s if a car wasn’t waitin for him and he ain’t hidin out across the state lines by now. But we all know you can’t outrun Johnny Lawman!!!!

    Why don’t they put tracking devices on these prisoners as stipulation to working outside the prison. ?
