Alabama Woman Charged With Trying To Stab Boyfriend To Death

An Evergreen, AL, woman is behind bars, accused of trying to stab her boyfriend to death Thursday night in Flomaton.
About 10:16 p.m., a male called 911 from a residence on Wilkerson Street in Flomaton and told the Flomaton Police Department that he had been stabbed. When police arrived on scene moments later, they found 45-year old Ruby Faye Likely outside the residence covered in blood, according to the department. She was taken into custody without further incident.
A 41-year old Wilkerson Street resident, described by police as Likely’s former boyfriend, suffered multiple stab wounds to the chest area. He was transported by Escambia County (FL) EMS to the Molino Fire Station and transferred to an awaiting AirHeart medical helicopter and flown to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola. His name and condition were not released.
Flomaton Police said Likely came to the victim’s residence and broke in through a window.
“We believe that this is when the altercation took place. During the altercation the victim was able to go to a neighbor’s residence for help,” Flomaton Police Chief Brian Davis said.
Likely was charged with attempted murder and burglary in the first degree. She was booked into the Escambia County (AL) Detention Center in Brewton without bond.

I was the one and my 15 yr old daughter, held a towels to his wounds,there was so much blood.The crash was so loud from her breaking the window,it woke us up ,then he came to my door said he had been stabbed call911.He collasped soon after .A night we will never foget she tried to kill him.
Now….. Before we jump to judge her, lets remember this is supposedly an ex??We do not know what( or who) he has said or done, that may have caused her to flip out on him. A man that LIEs and Cheats, and lies about cheating will cause a stressed, humiliated, angry, hurt, SCORNED woman, to SNAP!! Im not saying that its ok , to stab him. Im just saying that there are 2 sides to every story and both SHOULD be heard.
Hmmmm, maybe he should be a little more careful about who he picks as a girlfriend. Gee, that hair color looks so …………natural on her?
