Man Shot Near Escambia Lounge

Just after 2:00 Thursday morning, the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office responded to a local hospital in reference to a gunshot victim who stated that he had been shot several times during an altercation in a parking lot near Genes Lounge on West Navy Boulevard.
The subject had what appeared to be gunshot wounds which were not considered life threatening, the Sheriff’s Office said.
The incident is under investigation at this time. Anyone having any information concerning this incident should contact Crime Stoppers at (850) 433-STOP.

@Molino mom. Escambia county did have the highest crime rate per capita for the state a few years ago. I think New Orleans has about thirty murders this year and over a couple hundred shooting already. See http://www.Nola.com/crime/murder/
But I do agree that crime is on the rise here. People just use common sense and avoid crime ridden areas. Remember if you go looking for illegal activities you will probably become a victim yourself.

Gene’s Lounge has always been notorious for shootings, stabbings, fighting, etc. With all the criminal happenings, I don’t know why the place is still open.

I read just a couple of weeks ago that Pensacola, Fl was in the top 10, for cities with the highest crime IN THE UNITED STATES!
is it just me,?,or have there been a lot of shootings lately,,?I was born and raised here and I don`t recall this many shootings,,
