April 2, 2014
An Escambia County man was arrested after his landlord discovered a meth lab in his rental home while investigating a water leak.
Joshua James Selph, 29, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of ammunition by a convicted felon, possession of a listed chemical and producing methamphetamine.
Narcotics investigators said they located evidence of meth manufacturing on the premises of the rental home in the 600 block of North 77th Avenue. The meth lab was neutralized by the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office Rapid Response Team.
Selph remained in the Escambia County Jail Wednesday with bond set at $45,500.

Wasn’t mentioned that the Landlord will now have to strip everything in the place out and clean or replace a great cost. When a baby crawls on carpet where there has been a meth lab that child can die from what Escambia Cty. Sheriff’s dept says. It can enter their system through the skin.
Looks like this one has met all the criteria to be put away for at least 50 years. Convicted felon+firearms&ammunition+Meth producer, user, and dealer, so all of this =menace to society. Guess the firearm was for the unsafe feeling he had, while cooking up a batch, lots of criminals running around. First mistake in the judicial process…a bond was set…that should have never occurred due to the fact that he is a CONVICTED FELON!
bond seems quite low for all of these alleged offenses
