Flomaton Police Seek Person Of Interest In Armed Robbery

March 22, 2014

The Flomaton Police Department is looking for a person of interest in a Thursday night armed robbery. The man is seen on surveillance video shortly before the robbery of the Dollar General on Sidney Manning Boulevard.  He has not been named a suspect in any crime; he is wanted for questioning only at this time.

The man was driving a white colored sport utility vehicle, similar to a Ford Explorer or Jeep Cherokee. He appeared to be wearing a black golf-style hat, according to Flomaton Police Chief Bryan Davis.

Anyone with information about the person pictured is asked to call the Flomaton Police Department at (850) 296-5811.

Maybe it is a man wearing a woman’s blouse to throw a wrench in the investigation.
Of course there could be other theories also, such as this could be a cross dresser.

Another quality Sams / Walmart security camera…….as most of you already agree.

It does appear to be a woman in this surveillance photo, however it also reminds me of the McDavid woman who robbed the bank in Brewton, disguised to be a black person. It all came out then, and it will now! People get a job, go to school, do something constructive! Don’t rob! Don’t steal!

Maybe they can’t find her because they’re looking for a man.
    MOST CONFUSING

The Eso deputy is correct, but in that it only helps them with a lead to follow AFTER the fact,so many underpaid clerks working alone for low wages in a scary world shows their determination to do what we were taught growing up,to work and provide for your family with ANY job that’s available. These clerks face the nastiest, rudest and low life people every minute of the day and do it with courtesy.
The cameras are not for their safety, but for the corporations to collect on the insurance, the safety of these dedicated hard working clerks are of little value to them and are easily replaced. With due respect to the ESO we all know what happens to the “perp” in the end “PROBATION” or a month or two to play cards with their homies..People, be on your guard, the animals are attacking so prepare yourselves and watch your neighbor…

Working in law enforcement I see this all the time. Merchant will spend thousands of dollars on things like the anti shoplifting tags and other countermeasures. They will neglect the most important items like a good clear digital surveillance system. These systems make face and vehicle identification easy for us to investigate these crimes. They are a few that still uses VCR based systems. And when these places get robbed they expect us to solve the crime rapidly and ask the public for help by releasing very bad quality images to help identify the suspect. Merchants get up to date with better quality surveillance and help yourself if and when something bad happens.

Jeepers, the $50 cameras we have to observe wildlife take really clear pictures just sitting in the yard.

Why don’t merchants get off their wallet and upgrade their surveillance cameras. Every time you see a photo of a thief on surveillance , it looks unintelligible.

I agree with Don, this person looks more like a woman. That shirt/blouse will be the best identifier in this blurry photo.

Every now and then, you have to clean the lens on any camera..

Some people will recognize his flashy shirt right away. But the “no snitch policy” will apply. To them loyalty to trash is more important than a safe and crime free environment?.

This video is of very quality. Someone knows something. I hope they do the right thing and speak up.

Do they really expect us to be able to make out who is in that picture. Honestly surveillance videos are horrible!
