The Escambia County Animal Services and Target Zero Institute (TZI) will hold a special town hall meeting Monday, February 10, at the Escambia County Public Safety Building, 6575 North W Street, room 523, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Participants will hear from TZI and learn how community collaboration has helped drastically reduce public animal shelter intake, euthanasia and how public-private partnerships are now being duplicated across the country.

It cost so much to adopt a pet. They don’t even tell you when something is wrong,I love adopting pets but it cost so much sometimes it’s cheaper to buy one.
If people were responsible they would not let their cats or dogs run free to get picked up. Don’t you think the animal shelter is sick of putting down so many animals every year? If people would just spay & neuter. It’s not the animal shelters fault that they have to do this. Wouldn’t it be nice if we did not have to have shelters.
no-kill shelters are a misnomer.
Once the no-kill shelter is full, all others are turned away.
What do you suppose happens to those that are turned away because there is no more room?
They picked up my cat, refused to admit they had him and then killed him! They would not even let me look to see if they had him! Those people are just killers. I found out later on they knew they had him and killed him. They are liars and killers!
