February 21, 2014

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement Pensacola Regional Operations Center and Homeland Security Investigations arrested Joshua Keller Herrin, 35, of Pace on three counts of promotion of child pornography and 12 counts of possession of child pornography, both second degree felonies.

FDLE began its investigation in early February.  Thursday, FDLE Agents, Homeland Security Investigations and the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at Herrin’s residence at  4040 Tiburon Boulevard in Pace.  During the search, agents located multiple computers and mass media devices containing several hundred videos of child pornography.

Herrin was booked into the Santa Rosa County Jail and is being held without bond.

What would you say about the death penalty if your child was on one of those tapes. And who wants to feed, cloth, and give meds to this jerk for the rest of his life. Why dont ya’ll step forward and take your own money out and pay for him and the other thousands of child molesters already taken a free ride!!! What about the children involved,we could use the money for the help they need!!

    Dillon,

It’s easy to say that no one deserves the death penalty until they do something heinous to you. Then, you begin to see why the death penalty is around. Most folks who engage in behavior that gets them the death penalty think that they’ll never be caught. Whoops! Guess what? They got caught. Do the crime, do the time or die for it – one or the other is fine with me.

Lol all of you people saying he deserves a death penalty are crazy. Should he be locked up for a very long time? Yes. But nobody deserves the death penalty you sick people.

NEGATIVE….DEATH IS TO EASY. THESE GUYS NEED A LIFE SENTENCE, SOLITARY CONFINEMENT, 23 HOURS A DAY. CONVICTS CAN’T STANNNNND THAT.

I agree dad, This should be a Capital offense carrying the death penalty the first time convicted. This garbage can’t be fixed. People like this will reoffend until they are locked up for life or some poor father or mother kills them out of grief of the damage done to his child. If I was ever on a jury for a father or mother who killed one of these scumbags i would not vote to convict them of any charges, I would do the same if i caught them messing with anyones child and i mean anyones.

First of all, he should be put away for a long, long, time.. Second, if they found all these computers and mass- media devices, they should arrest everyone they can who bought from him..
