We have a great council and I see nothing wrong with Ms. brooks and Mr. Riley keeping their positions. I’m so proud of our council because they don’t sit up there and argue and disagree that it becomes a three ring circus.
>>Who votes on these positions? Certainly not the voters.
“The Century Town Council has re-elected….” (from the story)
Like any governmental body that does not have rules in place on the chair/president (district 1 this year, then district 2, etc), the Century town council elects its own president and vice president to lead meetings.
Who votes on these positions? Certainly not the voters.
