Alice- I didn’t live here in ‘77, but I was here in March of ‘93 when we got all that snow. I remember it was a Friday night and I was staying the night at a friends house in Milton and it snowed so hard my truck was covered in it. We need one good snowfall this year to justify all this cold weather!
On Jan.28 1977 I planted roses in a pair of shorts by 10;00pm Pensacola had enough snow to stick and accumulate. The snow continued off and on for 3 days straight, I remember it well because my son was born in early morning on the 29th .I watched it snow from my hospital window. The snow was still on the ground when we went home three days later.
