- Monday: A 50 percent chance of rain. Cloudy, with a high near 62. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming north in the afternoon.
- Monday Night: A slight chance of rain before 3am, then a slight chance of freezing rain and sleet. Cloudy, with a low around 27. Wind chill values between 15 and 20. North wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
- Tuesday: A chance of freezing rain and sleet before noon, then rain and sleet likely. Cloudy, with a high near 34. Wind chill values between 15 and 25. North wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
- Tuesday Night: Freezing rain and sleet before 3am, then snow, freezing rain, and sleet likely. Low around 25. North wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%.

LOL I always get a kick out of the “no school vs school” posts… no matter what they do, it will be wrong, I assure you – just come back to North Escambia and read the comments when it posts.

Sorry to bust any bubbles, but school was let out during Ivan. I had relatives that were in Blue Angels Elementary and they were out of school for quite a few days.
Sorry but we are talking about Escambia County Fl schools ha yeah there will be school ice or no ice As fa as hurricane I would love to see how long it would take to close school probably the day before.
So will school be cancelled or delayed wednesday? Even if the south end is ok, the north end may have ice on the roads. Hope the schools have enough sense to just take a day. We didnt use any hurricane days, so there is plenty of time for it. Better safe than sorry.
