Well, D. Hall, If the deputy had been paying attention, he would have seen that there was someone stopped in the road. Clearly a lack of paying attention on his part. And I always slow down and move to the edge of the roadway when there are flashing lights headed towards me. And thankfully no deputy has ran me over.
Doug,
I believe the ticket was issued by the State Trooper as they investigate traffic accidents. I’m glad the young lady is OK.
When I read this I flashback to Hillstreet Blues, when the Sgt. Always said “Let’s be careful out there”
Great idea , you see an emergency vehicle coming so you ’stop’ in the highway – talk about a ‘death wish’. Ya’ll need to read the ‘drivers manual’ again (hint > try moving over out of the travel lanes dah)
I just wonder if the patrolman wrote his own ticket?
Well nobody can say that the system isnt fair. Just proves to everyone that there is no favoritism.
Oops… guess that can happen to anyone.
