Beulahfest Announces Headliners

December 22, 2013

Beulahfest has announced their headliners for the annual two-day event in March — The Charlie Daniels Band and country star Rodney Atkins.

Rodney Atkins will perform on Friday, March 21, and The Charlies Daniels band will perform on Saturday, March 22.

The 28th Annual Beulahfest will have a new home this year. The event has been held for the past few years at the Escambia County Equestrian Center, but the March 21-22, 2014, festival will be held at the Pensacola Interstate Fairgrounds.

Remember when Taylor Swift performed at the location across the street from the fire house. That’s back when the sausages were really good…parking was a little crazy, but it had a much more down home feel to it.

The last 2 times I went I was disappointed. I will not pay to get in again. It wasn’t worth it. It was fun a few years ago and the food was good. Last two times it was just sort of commercialized. Take it to the fairgrounds…it will remove a bad traffic situation from 9 mile road.

Glad to see it leaving the equestrian center.

    Good points
    -The parking will be better
-Larger ticket booths, easier access into the fest
    -Bigger venue(unless it rains)
    -Larger area for more vendors

    Suggestions
-Please don’t overcharge food vendors. $10 for a burger and fries a bit too pricey. Charging food vendors $1000 to set up for 2 days is just wrong. i could see it if the sausage was as good as it was years ago. Sorry it isn’t.
-Continue to charge to get in. Keeps the rif raf out.
