WKRG Returns To Dish Network

November 17, 2013

After a month and a half absence, WKRG TV 5 has returned to the Dish Network satellite service. Media General, parent company of WKRG and stations in 16 other markets, announced a new retransmission agreement had been reached with Dish. Terms of the agreement were not released.

On October 1, WKRG went dark for Dish Network customers along the Gulf Coast after Media General and Dish failed to reach a retransmission agreement. Media General’s original contract with Dish expired in June.

I am so happy that they came to an agreement. I did not want to change to Directv, they charge to much.
