    >>>Okay, so they closed it down to begin with because the facility did not have enough people visiting it for the services it provided. Said it cost too much money to operate vs income coming in from it. Now they have opened it back up and only provide this one service?

NO. The Tax Collector’s Office closed several years ago. The Clerk of the Courts has never left and has been open continually. Pam Childers, the Clerk of the Courts, has added the FWC hunting and fishing licenses as an added public service.

I guess I’m a little confused at the moment so please bear with me so I can get this straight.

Yes, this is a wonderful start, however, what are the counties long term goals for the Billy G. Ward Courthouse and it’s north end residents as far as this building is concerned and what services the county will be providing us? Just wondering!

It’s about time they bring something back to Century. Only wish they would bring drivers licenses back too!

This is a good start. Now work on drivers license and property tax also. We take what we can get.
