The Animal Control people picked up my cat, refused to tell me if they had it, and then killed it. After the fact they finally admitted to picking it up. (I saw them take him but they would not let me have him out of the truck). This practice of killing animals without even admitting to the owners that they have them needs to stop. Even animals that are microchipped have been killed. I have no respect for animal control anymore.
I will be working at that time but I would love for someone to get Mr. Barry’s stance on our county animal control and changes being made, the TargetZero project and why I pay good money to have my pet microchipped but if it is killed by a car or found dead the county doesn’t scan for chips. That’s kind of the point of having them?
