Molino Man Held With Bond Set At $1.6 Million For Sexual Abuse Of Juvenile

October 11, 2013

A 61-year old Molino man has been charged with sexually abusing a teenage family member.

Eddie Williams, a resident of Blake Street, was charged with three counts of sexual assault by a custodian with a victim age 12-18, two different counts of lewd and lascivious behavior with a victim age 12-16,  and incest.  He remains in the Escambia County Jail with bond set at $1.6 million.

During an interview with the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, the victim said Williams first withheld certain unspecified items from the victim while soliciting her for sex.  She eventually had sex with him three to four times.

William admitted in an interview Tuesday with investigators that he had sexual intercourse with the underage victim, according to an arrest report.

Even when you know a persons name and have been around them most of your life, you may not know their nature. I am sad or both.

Come on people, there is no way anyone would admit to anything this despicable unless they did it. He had to know how serious these charges are and admitting to it was not going to get him out of jail . He is in serious trouble. Sadly tax payers are going to have to pay for it as well.

Please people, knowing someone for years doesn’t mean you “know’ them. Behaviors like these are deep, mental issues and not something someone could “notice” or see coming. It’s an illness! Worst part in all this, an innocent child trusted this man! Why isn’t anyone speaking up for that child. Molesters have a way of manipulating children so they cooperate out of fear!! Poor girl didn’t deserve to be betrayed by “family”!! Wake up people, he ADMITTED what he did! Stop sayin “he didnt do it”!!

It doesn’t matter how high his bail…or if found guilty, how long his sentence. Nothing will ever erase the effects sexual abuse will have on the victims. Sexual abuse in itself is a lifelong sentence on a innocent person. You can get all the counseling in the world and have Jesus heal the wounds but the scars remain forever.

I hope that everyone that abuse a child should spend life in prison and the same for those people who knew this is happening to children and don’t report the abuse. There’s more child abuser out there please!!!… know we are on our way to get you one by one the end is on its way to you all.”smile for your mugshots”.

I have known Eddie for 40 years , I have never known him to have these kind of thoughts or actions towards children. He is a father and has lived in Molino his whole life. I hope the truth comes out and I pray that he is not found to be guilty of these things that he is accused of. Remember we live in America and he is innocent until proven guilty. Put yourself in his place and ask what you would want people to be thinking about you. As for police and confessions they do try to tell you the best thing to do is just tell them what they want to hear, and when you are there and under this kind of pressure you are thinking they are on your side and they are not they are just wanting to put someone away for the record.

Why is this a shock….do people out there in the world think there are not sick people with masks on everywhere.

The courts help pull off the mask and show the real truth…good or bad it will come out.
    Not defending or judging

Jerrald, ₯He decided to confess to multiple felonies under the belief that was the way to stay out of trouble? A mental evaluation should free him.

I grew up around him I don’t think he would ever do this!!!!!!!

  14. Jerald williams on October 11th, 2013 2:28 pm

For one thing this is one big lie the investigators pressured him into a faulse confession with promises of him not being arrested witch was easy to do with him being under the influence of the medications he takes for his health related problems Now you people can say whatever you want youve known my dad for years hes alwase been in molino and you know hes never been accused or even thought of in this way matter of fact he dosent even have a criminal record the worst my dad has ever had in his whole life was about 3 or 4 speeding tickets so dont jump to conclusions before you read all the facts people. and as for you Deborah you know your dead wrong for saying what you said i think you should hold your opinions to yourself on a matter YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT.

Good for you molino resident, now days you don’t know who to trust & as for the victims not telling, what if they did & wasn’t believed, or what if there was a kid that was a little wild & something happened to them & thought nobody would believe them or if they did, that person would not believe, only say they made it up, or say that they deserved it, well, nobody deserves that, especially a child & nobody needs to judge the victims. I hope your perfect & nothing has happened/ will happen to you. Good job for those that can or will report these crimes. There’s more I want to say, but I won’t. If any that reads this, & this happened to you, tell whoever you got to to get it reported, don’t let the fact well it’s such & such bother you, just report it, it could be somebody else the next time.

I have know this man all my life this is a shock I guess you never really know someone I’m glad I didn’t trust him with my girls

  17. Deborah on October 11th, 2013 7:49 am

I am glad he is behind bars. Now if only the rest of the people here in Molino would be caught or the victims would speak out it would be great. I realize this is not a new thing but there is so much of it and no one seems to want to tell the police. Please keep him in jail, at least that will be one gone.
