Early Morning Wreck Claims Life Of Cantonment Man
October 6, 2013
A Cantonment man died in a single vehicle crash on I-10 in Santa Rosa County early Sunday morning.
The Florida Highway Patrol said 25-year old Brandon Earl Dubose was pronounced deceased following the 1:15 a.m. accident on I-10 at mile marker 20. He was traveling eastbound when he lost control of his 2010 Volkswagen, left the roadway, struck two pine trees and overturned.
Dubose, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle, according to the FHP.

When I think of Brandon I think of a bright smile, a good sense of humor and a hard worker. There are no words that can fully express the deep sympathy that I feel for his family, and his friends. I hope God will keep your in his arms and give you strength in this time. I know that Brandon will be missed, but he will not be forgotten. I’m glad that I had a chance to know such a great man.

Your spirit is so loud, you are still with us, and always will be! You were such a wonderful friend to my very best friends; the White’s. They are missing you more than ever! You were a great friend and officer! I will miss leaving the neighborhood and you waving hello! Your smile will stand in my memory forever. Prayers are with the family and friends.
I could live my whole life without another 3am phone call like I received this morning. It is just devastating news that such a vibrant and caring young man was taken from this world so early in life.
Brandon, we’ve been neighbors for as long as I can remember. Your family, in a lot of ways, is family to me also. I will always remember the way your presence lit up a room. You were an awesome son, brother, and uncle and you would have been a fantastic father.
Dubose family – We are here for you all, just as you all have always been here for us. We love you and will continue to keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
