New Girl Scout Troop Seeks Members

A new Girl Scout troop is forming and is looking for members.

Troop 935 will be at the Byrneville Elementary School Open House on Thursday, September 26 at 6 p.m. The troop’s kick off and parent meeting will be held Tuesday, October 1 at 6 p.m. at the Century Branch Library.

    Hey everyone! Sorry if anyone tried to call and didn’t get thru…Also I don’t have texting. :) The ages are K-12th grade. The $50 goes towards troop meeting activity costs, uniform (sash or vest), patches, etc. In other words, the $50 goes right back to your girl in Girl Scouts. Girl Scout consists of Daisies (K-1st), Brownies2nd-3rd), Juniors(4th-5th), Cadettes(6th-8th), Seniors(9th-10th), and Ambassadors(11th-12th).

    What does the membership fee of $15.00 a year go to be used on, and what does the Troop Dues of $50.00 go to be used on as well. Just info this mom is wondering…I texted both numbers on this page and no one got back in touch with me yesterday…

    Girl Scouts only …. do they have brownies anymore? If so what’s the minimum age and costs and when will meets be?

    For everyone that we have yet to reach at an open house all of our meetings will be on Tuesday at the Century Library. The membership fee is $15 a year and the troop dues are $50 a year. Still feel free to call if you have any other questions!
