I don’t allow mine to ride them, although anything is dangerous if you don’t take precautions, some of those things have a way to adjust speed & also have remotes to shut them down, my daughters have a scooter, & I stopped 1of them from riding it, because she was acting like a maniac on it in my yard, she hasn’t been on it since. If she can’t be trusted in the yard, she can’t be trusted anywhe else on it, & that includes anything.

I hope the gentleman recovers and glad the child was not hurt.

I wish someone would get the girl and boy that ride their atv’s on the side of the road, jumping ditches and doing wheelies and such at the dirt road right across from the Diamond Oil station on Hwy 97 in Davisville. Seems very dangerous to be doing that, plus doing it right beside traffic going by.

I called in last year twice about a young child, 6-7 riding a four wheeler down Backwoods dr, carrying a very young child, 2-3 years old, with him. He would fly behind the school bus and when it stopped he would whip around the left side. Scared me half to death.

I saw a couple of teenagers riding on 95a the other day. They were going about 35 mph. One driving the other setting backwards and holding on. The boys didn’t have a helmet on,or a shirt. Could have been Bad.

The way the accidents are happening with all the ATV’s…..Sounds like they should be a driving test before their allowed to buy one…..THESE ARE NOT TOYS PEOPLE…..PEOPLE DIE ON THESE……

They are lucky. I have a great nephew that is not able to move his whole body for more then just jerks because his parents thought they had to take him riding with them on 4-wheelers. My niece wasn’t showing off or riding rough. They were just riding down a dirt road enjoying the day. Now she has a son that is going to be an invalid the rest of his life. People really need to wake up. ATV’s were not meant for small children. Even just riding with their parents. How many have to be severely injured or die before something is done?

I see people with small children with them on ATVs all the time and often wonder what might happen. Hope everyone will be OK.
