Levon Eugene Howell

Mr. Levon Eugene Howell 74, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2013, in Century.

Mr. Howell was a native of Brewton and had resided in Flomaton for the past 52 years. Mr. Howell was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. His parents, George and Vera Howell, seven brothers and sisters and one grandson, George Caleb Hallford, precede Mr. Howell in death.

Survivors include his wife, Melva L. Knowles Howell of Flomaton; one son, Paul Levon Howell ( Samantha Kay) of Flomaton; three daughters, JoAnne Chavers (Will), Sandra Howell Hallford (George) and Sharon K. Baggett (David) all of Flomaton; one brother, Randal Howell of Brewton; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Sis. Helen Stewart and Rev. David Baggett officiating.

Burial was held at the Lambeth-Boutwell Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ethan Howell, Jesse Baggett, Kevin Knowles, Tim Howell, Lance Howell and Rod Harper.

Honorary pallbearers were Ricky Howell, Wendell Carnley and Jr. Davis.

Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes is in charge of all arrangements.
