A 32-year old Jay man was charged with DUI manslaughter and vehicular manslaughter in connection with the AugustĀ traffic death of a 64-year woman in Milton.
Milton Police said Travis Alan Kelly was the driver of a semi-truck that crossed the center line on Highway 87 at Magnolia Street. The semi collided head-on with a SUV driven by Susan Ann Hartfelder, a speech therapist at Bagdad Elementary School. She was pronounced dead at the scene of the August 16 crash. A school bus also hit the SUV after the initial crash.
Kelly was also charged with DUI property damage and possession of marijuana under 20 grams. He was not seriously injured in the crash.

You can’t judge a book by its cover Travis is a very nice a carrying person he has had a very hard time since his father died trying to raise his self and his bother and yes it is very sad and I hate what he did but everybody makes mistakes .So look in the mirror and ask yourself what mistakes have you made today if God can forgive him so can all of you people out there talking trash about him.
I pray that the prosecutor and judge assigned to this case will actually do their job and convict Mr. Kelly to highest the law will allow. Thankful Florida does NOT have a parole board anymore, and inmates must do 85% of their time. Prayers continue for the family, friends, and co-workers of Mrs. Hartfelder.
Drunk and driving a big rig. This man is a danger to society, lock him up.
A wonderful person was taken much too soon because this idiot decided to drive, a semi no less, under the influence. I hope I don’t see any posts asking us to h
ave pity on his poor soul. This piece of trash deserves so much more than he will actually get from the legal system!!!
life in prison…no less
