Harold L. Oglesby

Harold L. Oglesby, 76 of Atmore, passed away Sunday, September 1,2013, at his residence. He was a retired building inspector for the City of Atmore. He was born in Pensacola on September 29, 1936, to the late Thomas and Eunice Gentry Oglesby.

Mr. Oglesby was a member of Oak Grove Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Velvarae Dempsey Oglesby of  Atmore; two sons, Kenneth (Ksenia) Oglesby of West Lafayette, IN, Thomas Oglesby of Marengo, IA; one daughter, Rebecca Oglesby of Atmore; two brothers, Thomas (Terri) Oglesby of Ashland City, TN and Don (Christine) Oglesby of Milton; and one sister, Helen (Robert) Spohn Pensacola.

Services will be Thursday, September 5, 2013, at 11 a.m. from Atmore Memorial Chapel with Minister Billy Randolph and Minister Brad Sullivan officiating.

Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Family will receive friends Thursday, September 5, 2013, at Atmore Memorial Chapel from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
