I was saddened to hear of Aunt Doris’ passing. Life and time has a way of pulling families apart, and I have not been back to Monroeville since Grandma McNiel’s death, or to Atmore since losing my Dad, Lamar (aka., Junior, Mack) McNiel who was Uncle Eugene’s brother. I remember Aunt Doris fondly from my childhood visits to their home. She was always so sweet and kind with us kids! I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayer. Rest in peace Aunt Joyce!
