Work Release Inmate Charged With Car Lot Murder

August 17, 2013

A work release inmate has been charged with a murder last Wednesday at a Pensacola car dealership.

Justin Princes Taylor, 24, was charged with first degree murder and possession of  weapon in connection with the August 14 murder of 53-year old Adnan Mohamed Dali Glelati in his office at 7 Stars Auto at 5401 North W Street, next door to the Fast Eddies Fun Center on Michigan Avenue.

Taylor is being held without bond. He was currently assigned to the Escambia County Work Release program, according to the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office. His arrest history includes grand theft auto, grand theft, burglary and battery.

Further details, including a possible motive for the crime, have not yet been released. The Sheriff’s Office said Saturday morning that no additional information will be made available until Monday.

The judge of his case is the one that approves work release.

Work release is just a way to get money from the criminals. I know several people who misuse that program by doing things such as selling drugs then just paying someone money to say they work for them. Or sitting at there girlfriend house all day and get her to pay for his freedom. With all the money they gwt from the criminals for the program why don’t u have someone to make surprise visits to there “workplace”.

There are a lot of reasons why the sheriff’s office has not released more information. Maybe someone else is involved? Maybe they are looking for more evidence?

Work release ought to be for someone who doesn’t have a history of revolving through the system with felonies.

    REGARDING:
“I know this Young man, was extremely Surprise of him being CHARGED with this Crime,”

You were surprised he was CHARGED or that he might have committed such a crime? If you know him, you know some of the crimes he has committed in the past.

As you point out, he may be innocent of this crime.
The sheriff’s department may have made the whole thing up, but that’s more rare than some seem to think.
False witnesses get confused on the witness stand and give each other up if they make up very much.
    Things like,
    “where did you find it?”,
“what was it beside or on?”
    “who first saw it?”
“has it ever been outside your custody while you were handling it?”

For example, if they charge him with possession of a weapon, they probably saw him with a weapon or had some proof he had possessed a weapon.
Further, if they say that weapon is connected to the murder, they tend to have at least some support for the allegation.

If a person was killed by a knife, you don’t charge them with murder because they had a shotgun. Again, this is just for an example because the Sheriff’s department has said they won’t give any details until Monday for some reason which makes perfect sense to them.

    David for avoiding false charges

Another example of why we need the stand your ground law…

This guy should NOT have been in work release. Had he been in jail where he obviously belonged, he would not have been able to commit this horrific murder, and that man would be alive today.

I’m not sure if this is the same program as the one out at Camp 5 on Hwy 297. They have an excellent program there and have turned many lives around. If he is from that program it’s sad he chose the wrong path. I hope this incident doesn’t shine a bad light on all the good things happening out there.

This man has quite a history to be so young! Why would he be considered a candidate for Work Release? His history states that he likes to STEAL & HURT PEOPLE…. NOT WORK! Work Release is for people who want to work off their debt to society. Can charge the idiot that put this criminal in the Work Release program?

    CONTEMPLATING:
“He was currently assigned to the Escambia County Work Release program,”

It seems that didn’t work out as well as hoped.

This is also part of why some are reticent to employ convicted felons over people who have NOT stolen and done other crimes.

    David for better people
