Praying for Daniel and his family. Its sad that instead of people being sympathetic to accidents like this they instead use the comment section on here to climb up on their soap box and pretend like they have never had an accident theirselves. Growing up in the country and having my first ATV at age 3 I never wore a helmet. I was lucky not to ever get serisly hurt but I can’t think of anyone I know of ever grabbing a helmet to ride their 4wheeler or dirt bike to the creek Or to a friends house. Accidents are accidents and not one person on earth is perfect. Criticize your own life before you do it to someone else’s. Keep fighting Daniel.
The guys at Archer Western are thinking of the Nelson family in this difficult and trying time. Our prayers and hopes go out To Daniel.
Daniel continues to struggle for his life, he is a wonderful son, grandson, father, brother, nephew and friend. Life has been hard for him and this is the worst yet, all of his family is praying for his recovery but we keep in mind that God knows him best and will allow the right thing for Daniel, whether it’s to live or leave us to be with Him. No one is perfect, we all make mistakes. Daniel is a special man who deserves a good life and we pray that he’ll be able to come home to his children. They don’t understand what is happening and want to be able to hug him again. If you have a heart, then pray for Daniel and all his family, thank you……..When you decide to post a critical statement, try to remember the pain Daniel’s mother is suffering and be kind.
Our family is praying for you, Daniel and your family members during this difficult time.
Daniel is not doing well. All prayers are greatly apprecited. He has severe brain stem damage and three was taken into surgery this morning due to increased swelling and has came out of surgery but his lungs after not working properly. Please pray for my brother, he is a wonderful father of 3 small children, a great brother and best uncle to my boys. Thank you all in advanced.
Daniel you & your family will continue to be in our prayers,And I am in agreement it does not matter why he was where he was or the time,I take drives all hours of the night because of nightmares & severe insomnia please, hasn’t this family been through enough..lets ban together and support them in their time of sorrow and need…that is one of the MAJOR thing wrong with America today,to many judgmental people & not enought sympitic souls Goodness gracious…..smd!!!!
I am pulling for you brother. You are the best friend that I’ve ever had the pleasure of having. I know you are fighting so hard to come back to your family and friends. You are so truly loved here and we need you. I can’t do this without you. I love you and am praying for you and your family. Y’all have been through so very much.
Daniel is the brother of LCPL Travis Nelson who was KIA in Afghanistan on Aug 18, 2011; Their Dad Scott Nelson died in Sept of last year. Daniel is an amazing man who has already overcome so much! The Nelsons have the strongest sense of family and the greatest faith of any I know. I admire them SO MUCH!
Prayers are with them all and with the medical staff taking care of Daniel. GOD’S GOT THIS!
In response to Susan. Today fourwheelers carry more than 1 person! And yes it has stickers saying it. Now they can hold 2 depending on the fourwheelers. And yes a helement should have been worn.. But right now all that matters is that he has a full recovery for he is a father and husband! Prayers sent!
It doesn’t matter what the circumstances were when this accident happened. Daniel is a grandson, a father, a husband, a brother. He is an uncle, he is a cousin, a nephew and he is a friend. We all pray for him now and all the above who love him so much and who he loves so much. We pray for family traveling here and back home again as we did 2 years ago with Travis and one year ago with Scott. God bless you Daniel and know we are all pulling for you.
Daniel Scott Nelson, is related to the late Travis Nelson that the new park in Bratt on Hwy. 4 was dedicated to and named after that was lost in the war recently. May he make a full recovery, the family has lost enough in the past couple of years. Hope the young lady does very well also with her recovery.
There is simply no need for all the recent tragedies and near tragedies with atv’s. plain and simple rules to live by are: do NOT ride more than one person!! Even the atv has stickers saying this. Wear a HELMET every time!!! No speeding!! and NO drinking while riding. So simple yet time and time again, this happens.
Daniel* dang iPhone
Keeping Daniel in my heart. Travis was like a little brother and Scott like a father… Danielle is an amazing man and I pray for a speedy recovery.
Keeping Daniel in my heart…after the loss of Travis and his father I pray for a speedy recovery
