August 10, 2013

An Escambia County man was arrested Friday morning on child pornography charges after  investigators determined he downloaded sexually explicit pictures and movies of children from  the internet onto his computer.
Dylan James Lucius, 19, of 1872 Loyola St. was charged with 22 counts of possession of  child pornography and one count of possession child pornography with intent to distribute.

Lucius was booked into the Escambia County Jail on a $47,000 bond.

Agents with the North Florida Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force initiated a search warrant at Lucius’ residence on August 8 after he was identified via the internet as downloading child pornography.

Additional charges are pending, and the investigation is continuing to determine if he transmitted files and/or downloaded additional child pornography, investigators said.

I have always wondered the same thing! If they can catch who downloads it why on earth can’t they stop it all together?! In my mind I like to think it’s some made up thing and this isn’t actually material that isn’t even real.

    I agree with bewildered.

Why can’t we get this disgusting filth off the internet? How is it we have the capabilities to catch the ones downloading it, but not the ones who actually put it there? I don’t understand that at all!
Its sad that this young man has probably ruined his life over this. But don’t think he’ll spend alot of time in jail. Its his first offense, he’s young….he’ll get off with probation more than likely (and registered sex offender)

Good work, pedophiles can’t be fixed. No parole, No Jail, just a good strong rope is the only cure for molesters.

There are no excuses for this young man’s behavior. However, I cannot understand why, with all the technology, this filth cannot be stopped from coming into this country in the first place. Sort of like drugs – everybody is going after the users while the distributors laugh all the way to the bank.

There is no question he’ll do some hard time— and you can bet it will not be fun for him in any shape, form, or fashion.
