Chloe Channell Done On ‘America’s Got Talent’; She’s Singing Again Friday At Olive

August 15, 2013

She wowed America and the judges for weeks on American’s Got Talent, but when it came down to the wire Wednesday night, everyone’s favorite 11-year old super-enthusiastic country girl was headed back to Pace.

“Chloe was electric last night on America’s Got Talent,”  The Band Perry tweeted about her Tuesday night cover of their hit “Done” live at Radio City Music Hall in NYC.

The Band Perry and America had to wait literally until the final seconds of Wednesday night’s results show to find out if Chloe was done.  Chloe and Taylor Williamson, as the fourth and fifth place acts from Tuesday night, faced the judges’ vote to see who would continue on to the America’s Got Talent semifinals.

Shock Jock Howard Stern and comedian Howie Mandel voted for Williamson, while supermodel Heidi Klum and singer Melanie Brown voted for Chloe. With a judge’s tie, the decision went to the yet unknown America’s vote as the closing credits rolled. After a stage hand ran out with the results envelope, host Nick Cannon read the verdict — Williamson was moving on and Chloe was headed home.

“I want to thank you all for everything,” Chloe said Wednesday night via Facebook. “This is only the beginning. The out pour of support has been amazing.”

Chloe Channell will be back on a local stage Friday night at 6:30 at her church as Olive Baptist  presents the “Opry at Olive”, an event scheduled before Chloe’s moment in the national spotlight. The benefit concert for the Olive Ministry Village will feature a mixture of bluegrass and folk music from the Sawmill Band and the voice talents of Chloe Channell. Admission is free, but a love offering will be taken.

She should.have stayed.in the game???? She has more talent than the ones that voted her off. I hope that this doesn’t causes her to give up on her dream….also I hope some one gives her a singing contract..I know.that there are some smart agents out there that would scoop her up and would make big bucks off of her…And she will make an outstanding career in what she loves to do…I hope her parents continue to help her…..Good luck. when you make it big…..dedicate one of your songs to them…

I just listened to her performance and agreed with the judge that said she should have chose a different song. Sounds like friends and family making these comments on here. How can she improve if everyone tells her she is amazing and so talented. Let her know exactly what you feel should be improved on otherwise she can never get any better. I personally heard a robot singing. There was no soul or emotion. She could have done 100 times better but I gotta give it to her for going on that stage in front of millions. That takes guts!

They just lost 3 viewers…i said if they choose him over Chloe, I was not watching anymore…..they are gonna be sorry when she is famous….congrats Chloe! You are amazing and you WILL be signed, and that person will be very glad they found you!

Chloe, you stood tall and all of America found out about the talents of an 11 year old from Pace Florida. You did you community, friends and family proud. Keep the mission and always remember you have many people who are looking forward to seeing you again. Congrats! For making it so far.

Good job on her part, but do you really think people will want to see a child singer while in Vegas. I think the show gives kids false hope. Vegas is not a place for kids. I do wish her well in her singing career though.

What a shame to send this extremley talented artist home over the boring comedy actor. American voters got it wrong on this one and America’s got talent just lost two viewers…
